The actor told 'The New Yorker': "Nothing really affects comedy. People always need it. They need it so badly, and they don't get it."

As per 'People', Seinfeld elaborated that "most people" would go home at the end of the day to watch comedy on television.

"You just expected, There'll be some funny stuff we can watch on TV tonight. Well, guess what -- where is it? This is the result of the extreme left and P.C. crap and people worrying so much about offending other people," he said.

Seinfeld said that the public has now flocked to stand-up comics "because we are not policed by anyone."

"The audience polices us," he added.

"We know when we're off track. We know instantly, and we adjust to it instantly. But when you write a script and it goes into four or five different hands, committees, groups -- 'Here's our thought about this joke'. Well, that's the end of your comedy."

When asked whether the same applies to his 'Seinfeld' co-creator Larry David and his HBO series 'Curb Your Enthusiasm', Seinfeld suggested that "Larry was grandfathered in".

"I really hope that the audience appreciates it too. I hope to receive validation from them. I still feel like I am living the dream. I had never expected to be a part of this magnum opus. It was a far-fetched dream for me, but then dreams do come true," Adhyayan said.

The series also stars his father, veteran actor Shekhar Suman.

Adhyayan said that it's a dream come true for his mother, Alka, to watch the father-son duo together in one show.

"Unfortunately, I have only one scene with him (Shekhar). I had hoped for more screen time together, but that's not how tracks come together. Nevertheless, having both father and son on the same show was a dream come true for my mother, especially, and of course, for me as well," he added.

Adhyayan anticipates a second season and hopes his character's path intersects with his father's role in the show.

As for his projects in 2024, Adhyayan has a packed schedule.

I have just finished an untitled love story right now… I have completed a dark thriller called 'Veham' with Vijay Raaz, and a film called 'Entrapped'. Additionally, I have about nine singles coming out this year," he said.

The 36-year-old is also set to direct a film titled 'Ae Ajnabi' and produce a biopic on a "conman".

Mumbai, April 29 (IANS) National award-winning music composer Devi Sri Prasad, who is gearing up for two big releases -- ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ and ‘Kanguva’ -- has shared the process behind creating foot-tapping dance numbers that enjoy commercial success.

The composer told IANS that he is a huge dance enthusiast and keeps dancing throughout the process of making songs in his studio.

On International Dance Day (April 29), Prasad shared that he first imagines what kind of dance would suit a song that he has been briefed for. Once he cracks the steps in broad strokes, he goes all out in terms of tune, rhythm, and programming of the song.

'Rockstar DSP', as Prasad is known to his fans, told IANS, “Even before we come to know about music, we inherently know about dance. A toddler expresses his happiness by dancing and jumping with no sense of melody or rhythm. That’s why I say rhythm is so important because it directly appeals to the younger audience as is evident in the case of kids. I simply love rhythms."

He also narrated an incident when he performed with megastar Kamal Haasan on stage, saying, “Once when Kamal Haasan sir and I performed together on stage for an audio launch, he told the people at the event, ‘You all know DSP as a composer, and you may think that just because it’s a concert or a show, he is dancing on stage. But, no, I have seen him dancing in the studio as well when he is working on a track’. I was spellbound by his observation."

He added, “I imagine the dance, the situation, and the picturisation of the song in my mind first, then make the music for it. I think that’s the reason people like my dance numbers and they get a good response. People often ask me how I manage to dance for 3-4 hours during the whole show.

“I would call Michael Jackson my inspiration behind my stage performances. I aspire to have that kind of energy while performing to keep my audience entertained."

Mumbai, April 29 (IANS) South Korean boy band 'Seventeen' has released their album ‘17 is Right Here’ along with a music video for the lead single ‘Maestro’.

The album, which comes in two CDs, includes four new tracks, Korean versions of eight previously-released Japanese lead singles, 20 lead singles from past Korean releases, and a digital-only instrumental version of the group’s debut single, ‘Adore U’.

The song ‘Maestro’ brings in elements from the band’s past seven releases like ‘Adore U’, ‘VERY’ NICE’, ‘Oh My’, ‘Fear’, ‘Rock with you’, ‘CHEERS’ and ‘Super’. It’s an R&B track that aligns with the band’s core message around solidarity.

The music video of the song is set in a dark dystopian world where anything, including music and art, can be easily created with technology. The 13 members of the band explore the concept of ‘true creation’ as they confront and eventually embrace the unfamiliar beings introduced to them.

Shefali said while her children were not avid readers when they were young, over the years they have developed a taste for reading books. She also said that their reading habits are very different from hers.

Mumbai, April 29 (IANS) ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu will now release on July 5.

The film directed by Neeraj Pandey of ‘A Wednesday’ and ‘Special 26’ fame also stars Jimmy Shergill, Saiee Manjrekar, and Shantanu Maheshwari. It is a musical romantic drama spanning 23 years between 2000 and 2023.

The film has seen quite a few changes with regard to its release date.

In December last year, Ajay had taken to X to reveal that the film will hit the screens on April 26, 2024.

However, the release date was again shifted to Eid al-Adha in June, around the same time as the Kangana Ranaut-starrer ‘Emergency’ and the ‘Chandu Champion’ starring Kartik Aaryan.

The film, presented by NH Studios, is produced by Friday Filmworks, Shital Bhatia, Narendra Hirawat, and Kumar Mangat Pathak (Panorama Studios) in association with Mangal Murti Films.

It is now set for theatrical release on July 5.

Mumbai, April 29 (IANS) Actress Sreeleela, who predominantly works in Telugu and Kannada movies, has declined to work in a dance number opposite Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay in the upcoming Tamil film ‘GOAT’.

The film would have marked Sreeleela’s foray into Tamil cinema and her pairing opposite Vijay, who's known for his dancing skills, would have been a treat for the fans. But, as per a media report, the actress didn’t want to debut in Tamil cinema with a dance number. Hence, she politely turned down the offer for the song.

Sreeleela has emerged as a dancing sensation, and her latest song ‘Kurichi Madathapetti’ from the Telugu film ‘Guntur Karam’ with Mahesh Babu has been trending on the Internet.
